Winter Hippie Chic

There is one thing I love about fashion in fall & winter: Layers!

Vests, scarves, boots – you name it!
But the one thing that normally gets in the way of styling a cute winter outfit is the weather.
Now, this might sound as if I had lost my mind, but let me explain.
I love „decorative“ layers, which have the sole purpose of adding a bit of style to your outfit.
But most of the time, especially in Switzerland, the need for a huge winter jacket that keeps you warm, prevents the outside world from seeing your fabulous outfit.
Honestly, you spend HOURS matching your hat, dress, necklace, nail polish and other accessories and then, you end up covering everything with one of these humungous coats that makes you look like a polar bear!
This is why I was particularly happy about the weather situation in Mallorca during the New Year’s period. I had the chance to celebrate New Year’s Eve there and got to stay a few more days to enjoy the Spring-like temperatures.
I just HAD to take this opportunity to wear one of my favorite looks this season – the „Winter Hippie Chic“ as I like to call it.
I am aware that this look has very little in common with an actual hippie, but the fringe vest just inspired me…
