Red & Velvet

The mixture of the power color red and a black velvet handbag is my current favorite…

Red Coat : Zara (also loving this one) | Black Pullover : H&M (similar one here) | Skirt : Aliexpress | Overknee Boots : Aliexpress | Handbag : Night&Day by De Marquet | Necklace : H&M

Is it just me or has February been the coldest month we’ve experienced this winter so far?!? I mean, I knew we weren’t going to get away with a nice and mild winter, but the last couple of days have really been freezing – Siberia style!

In order to forget about these crazy temperatures somehow, I decided to go for a bright and colorful look for my newest outfit post. I was hoping it would help warm up the temperatures, but so far, no such luck.

Nevertheless, red is an absolute power color and I’m rather obsessed with this outfit choice. Even though I honestly want to wear UGG boots and a full-body-blanket-suit every time I go out of the house lately, this is definitely the more stylish approach and would probably be more suitable if I have to actually face humanity. Or do you know how to get away with wearing a full-body-blanket-suit outside? If so, let me know and I’ll be eternally grateful!

Jokes aside and back to reality – I’m really loving the skirt and over-knee boots kombo, which I honestly find so sexy – oh lala!

This skirt is in fact one of my favorite purchases of 2017. The reason being that it has built-in shorts, which make sure that you never – ever – flash somebody accidentally. This has honestly made me feel so much more confident in wearing mini skirts.

In the past, when I would wear such a short skirt, I would nervously fumble with the hemline the entire time and I would constantly worry that a small movement or a gust of wind would give anybody around a waaaay too personal view. Then, I discovered this skirt.

I was initially looking for outfits to dance salsa in – where I also normally prefer not to flash the entire dance floor – and I found this perfect creation. I can honestly say that I’ve been loving it dearly – so much so that I actually own it in 4 (!!!) colors and I’m thinking of ordering even more for this Spring/Summer season.

The price is ridiculously low, but just be careful while selecting your size, as the ones indicated are Asian sizes, meaning that a girl like me needs to order a 3XL. Yeah I know – thanks for the confidence boost – am I right?! Still, this is my absolute favorite skirt at the moment and I think it might stay this way for quite some time, because I just love that I don’t have to worry about my bum showing in any situation – hurray!

What a note to end this post on. I hope you liked this outfit and I wish you a lovely day!
