Winter has officially arrived in Switzerland and so has the festive season. It’s the time of the year when you head from one Christmas party to the other and hence, it is time for a whole range of festive looks!
In order to inspire you and give you an idea of what you could wear to all these festivities, I headed over to the ESPRIT online shop and put together the outfit above. They currently have so many cute items in their store that I initially wasn’t sure where to start, but once I spotted this amazing jumpsuit and cape, I knew I had to somehow pair them together.
I love finding that one piece of clothing, which starts an entire outfit and then just explore the online shop for any matching pieces. I have to say that I am particularly obsessed with the “Prince de Galles” or “Prince of Wales” pattern – which you can also see in my latest outfit post here – and hence, finding this poncho was a real treat.
Another thing I particularly love wearing during the winter months is anything fluffy. If it’s soft and fuzzy, I want it! So when I saw this amazing, fluffy watch, I basically fell in love. I mean romance is nice and all, but honestly “all I want for Christmas is you” little fluffy watch!
Now I know what you’re thinking – besides “this was a stupid joke Chloé” – you are wondering why the heck I would choose a pair of sandals for a festive look that will most probably have to stand the horrid temperatures and weather conditions we are experiencing at the moment and – of course – you are right. A nice pair of ankle boots would be the wiser choice, but since when have we ever been thinking practical when it comes to fashion? Quite honestly, I chose them because they just match the outfit I put together perfectly, but obviously, should I really have to brave the cold in this look, I would go for comfort over style. Whether that means wearing a pair of fluffy boots for the trip to the party and changing into the sandals there, or simply skipping the sandals all in all, I’m not sure. Either way, I would find a way to make the outfit work that doesn’t include my feet transforming into ice cubes in the end.
I really love this look and I hope you enjoyed it too. Have a holly jolly Christmas dear!
