Nail Polishes : Bourjois Paris 1 Second Gel Nail Polish N°39 It’s Raining Stars & N°28 Red Dingue via parfumcity.ch | Bracelets & Leather Pouch : De Marquet | Hat : H&M | Lace Body : Market Find | Sunglasses : Boutique
A little while ago, parfumcity.ch invited me to test the Bourjois Paris 1 Second Gel Nail Polishes. I was thrilled to be able to select two colors of their wonderful color palette and after a bit of thinking, I decided to go for a silver and burgundy tone, which match my fall and winter wardrobe perfectly. It’s Raining Stars (N°39) and Red Dingue (N°28) found their way into my little shopping basket and I couldn’t wait to get the delivery to try these beautiful shades!
I decided to go for a half-moon design on my nails, for which I first applied a coat of the Red Dingue nail polish and once it dried, I added a half-moon of silver glitter – or It’s Raining Stars – on the top of my nails.
The Bourjois nail polishes dried amazingly fast and were super easy to apply. Their fan effect brush facilitates the application through its wide shape, which I definitely enjoyed. One coat of nail polish was enough to get an even and opaque color payoff, which I was especially happy about. I strongly dislike nail polishes that require 10 coats to be opaque – honestly, who has the time or nerves for that?!? Luckily, the Bourjois polishes don’t come with this particular trait and I have to say that I personally loved the look and feel of them.
Overall, I am very happy about the color, especially the Red Dingue one, which will definitely be one of my fall staples.
Thank you to parfumcity.ch for sending me these great nail polishes!
